Yemen takes interest in cooperation in the field of infrastructure projects

The President of the BCCI, Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov, had a meeting with Mr. Haber Macau, a Second Secretary on bilateral relations at the Embassy of the Republic of Yemen in Sofia.  The expert on information matters and public relations at the Empassy, Mr. Jawad Jassim, also participated in the meeting.

Mr. Haber Macau outlined that stabilization of the country goes on, as the larger part of the territory is under the control of the legitimate government of the Republic of Yemen. There is interest in collaboration with Bulgarian companies in the field of infrastructure project (construction of highways, hospitals, etc.), trade in accumulators and oil products, salt, coffee, sea products, citrus fruits, etc. Considerable number of Yemen citizens had graduated during the years in Bulgaria, which is important human capital which may be used for further development of the bilateral relations.

Mr. Simeonov made an invitation to the Embassy for joint organization of information seminar, focused on the new opportunities for doing business in Yemen. The BCCI will provide additional information about the exact date of organization of the event.
