On 12th and 13th July 2011, the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted a seminar as part of the CEFTA-DIHK Project “Application of CEFTA for Internationalization of the Economy of Southeast Europe”. The seminar aimed at developing a road map for the application of the Free Trade Agreement in Southeast Europe.
The Vice President of BCCI, Mr. Georgy Stoev opened the seminar and shared that the participation of Bulgaria in CEFTA prepared our country for EU-membership. He stressed that BCCI is always ready to assist its partners in the project.
Representatives of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry and Unions from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia took part in the seminar. By the end of the year, 5 more training seminars are expected to take place as part of the CEFTA-DIHK Project, each of them dedicated to a different topic: INCOTERMS 2011, typical mistakes in foreign trade, international agreements, marketing for Chambers of Commerce, etc. Within the project conferences, participation in fairs in the region and production of various information brochures are envisaged.
