Meeting with the Minister-Counsellor of the Embassy of Romania in Sofia

Radu Moldovan, Minister-Counsellor at the Embassy of Romania in Sofia, visited BCCI and discussed with the Chamber’s President Tsvetan Simeonov the organization of an upcoming Bulgarian – Romanian Business Forum in Burgas in early September this year. The event is expected to be supported by the Bulgarian Ministry of Economy and the Romanian Ministry of Business Environment, Commerce and Entrepreneurship.

Mr. Simeonov informed his guest about the achieved results and the assistance that BCCI as a non-governmental organization provided during the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU.

The preparations for the summit meeting of the Heads of State of the Three Seas Initiative countries and the business forum accompanying it were discussed. They will be held on 17 and 18 September in Bucharest, Romania. The Three Seas Initiative includes 12 countries – Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia, situated between the Adriatic, the Baltic and the Black Sea.
