GS1 Bulgaria participated in the Regional Forum "GS1 in Europe" 2014 in Nice



GS1 Bulgaria Council with the BCCI participated in the Regional Forum "GS1 in Europe" 2014 in Nice, France between 3th - 7th November 2014.
 
The Bulgarian delegation composed of members of the Council and experts was led by the President of GS1 Bulgaria Council and President of the BCCI - Tsvetan Simeonov.
 
The forum focused on the end consumer and the opportunities to meet the needs and preferences in terms of the increasingly widespread use of web-based services and social networks. 
 
During the Regional Forum "GS1 in Europe" 2014 manufacturers and retailers will be able to exchange views on their future vision and share ideas for the utmost possible answer to the progressively increasing consumer requirements of the 21st century.
 
Highlights of the themes for the envisaged trainings will be data quality and achieving sustainability, electronic exchange of documents in retail trade - from the order to the cash-desk payment, standard marking of medical goods and more.
 
In the meetings on projects scheduled this week those of the group of consumer safety and traceability of food stand out first, followed by e-government, implementation of GS1 standards in the banking sector, new identifiers and symbols for encoding information.
