BCCI presented Project RECULTIVATUR at ITB Travel Trade Show in Berlin



BCCI participated with Project RECULTIVATUR at the Annual Travel Trade Show ITB Berlin in the period 5th – 8th March 2014. The Chamber ensured the participation of three representatives of branch organisations and member companies from the travel sector in order to promote more widely the opportunities for tourism in Bulgaria and to provide conditions for direct contracting of products and destinations between the Bulgarian agents and the participating foreign partners. The work visit was realized under the Project RЕCULTIVATUR, funded by the South East Europe Transnational Cooperation Programme. 
 
At the Travel Trade Show the BCCI presented the created geographic information system (GIS), which is database containing information about 4000 sites of religious nature, located in Bulgaria, and it spread materials and information on religious routes available in our country. During the trade show training sessions in the field of tourism were organized.  
 
ITB Berlin is a leading B2B platform for the global travel industry. Bulgaria participated for the 47th time with a national stand, which presented 46 travel companies and organisations.
