New opportunities for extended cooperation between Bulgaria and Iran
H. E. Mr. Abdullah Norouzi, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Bulgaria, and the First Secretary to the Embassy, Mr. Mohammad Moazami, visited the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and met with the President of the Chamber, Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov.
The idea to present the investment climate of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the first half of 2014 and to organize an exhibition of Iranian goods in Bulgaria was discussed at the meeting.
Forming a business delegation to the Islamic Republic of Iran in the second half of 2014 was also subject to discussion. The need of creating a direct contact between the businesses of the two countries without the intermediation of a third country was also stated.
H. E. Mr. Norouzi said that opening a direct airline Sofia – Teheran will give impetus to the development of tourism and increasing the tourist flow between both the countries.
BCCI expressed readiness to promote the trade and economic relations between Bulgaria and Iran, by providing the business community with additional information about the upcoming visits and delegations for the year of 2014.
