Bulgarian and Croatian Presidents – determined to expand the bilateral economic cooperation

Presidents Rosen Plevneliev and Ivo Josipovic opened a joint Bulgarian-Croatian business forum, specially organized at the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry on the occasion of the visit of the Croatian Head of State to our country. At the beginning of the forum BCCI’s President Tsvetan Simeonov called the meeting the first major step in expanding the bilateral economic cooperation, after Croatia’s EU accession.

I myself am glad for each factory in Croatia, for each factory in Serbia, because this is the precondition for employment in Bulgaria as well”, he added.

In his address to the participants in the forum the Croatian Head of State Ivo Josipovic highlighted that he and his Bulgarian counterpart President Plevneliev have confirmed their willingness for strengthening the economic relations between the two countries.
