A new source of funding for the Bulgarian companies – importers from Hungary
The new funding opportunities for the Bulgarian importers based on the agreement between the Hungarian EXIM Bank and the Bulgarian Development Bank were presented at the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The event was jointly organized by the Embassy of Hungary and the Bulgarian-Hungarian Chamber of Commerce.
At the inauguration of the event BCCI’s President highlighted that introducing the credit line to the Bulgarian businesses leads to real funding opportunities and discovery of new markets.
H.E. Mr Andras Klein, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Hungary in Bulgaria, presented some data on trade – in 2012 the Bulgarian export to Hungary has increased by 10%, and the import by 2 %.
Dr. Viktor Nagy, Deputy General Director of the Hungarian EXIM Bank, put an emphasis on the high credit rating of the Hungarian bank, which is 100% state-supported financial institution.
The amount of the credit line granted is BGN 10 mln. According to preliminary information EXIM Bank believes that industries of interest for the Hungarian exporters will be such as engineering, pharmacy and wood processing.
