BCCI President presented the advantages for investments in Bulgaria at a Forum in Zurich, Switzerland
On 13th March 2013 in Zurich, Switzerland, following the invitation of the Embassy of Bulgaria in Bern and the Swiss Chamber of Commerce Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov- BCCI President, participated in the forum "Bulgaria as an investment destination and trading partner".
H. Exc. Mrs. Meglena Plugchieva, Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria in Bern, Mrs. Nellie Tasheva, attorney at the German Embassy in Bulgaria, Mr. Vasil Radoynovski, Managing Director of the Bulgarian-Swiss Chamber of Commerce, outlined the opportunities and prospects for investment and trade in Bulgaria.
In his presentation Mr. Simeonov emphasized that the benefits of investing in our country are as follows: membership in EU and NATO, a stable currency, low budget deficit and government debt-the second lowest debt in the EU (17.0% of GDP) and one of the lowest deficits (2.1%) in 2011, educated and skilled personnel. The costs of business doing are also low - energy costs, rent of office buildings, 10% corporate tax, 10% individuals income tax and competitive labour wages within the EU.
