Business Opportunities in Indonesia were presented at BCCI





 

The Ambassador of Indonesia in Sofia H. Exc. Mr. Bunyan Saptomo presented the current opportunities for business and investment in his country. The event was opened by the President of the Chamber Tsvetan Simeonov who outlined the major economic characteristics of Indonesia.
 
The Ambassador mentioned the important preconditions for investments in the country – the steady economic growth of 6% per year, the number of SMEs, the strategic geographic location, free exchange of foreign currency, an increasing number of the middle class in the population. Textiles, electronics, rubber and palm oil are among the main export goods. The country is a famous spa destination where shopping tourism is developed.
 
The Ambassador invited all the participants at the "Holiday & Spa" exhibition at Inter Expo Center (14-16 February), where Indonesia will be represented with its own stand.
 
More than 25 companies participated in the event and shared enthusiastically their business plans and intentions regarding Indonesia.
