New opportunities for development between Bulgaria and Ukraine were discussed at BCCI
H.Exc. Mykola Baltazhy, Ambassador of Ukraine to Bulgaria and the newly-appointed Commercial Counselor Mark Martinyuk visited BCCI and talked to Tsvetan Simeonov, BCCI’s President.
More specific plans for cooperation between Bulgaria and Ukraine in 2013 and opportunities for economic development were outlined during the meeting. This year is particularly important to Ukraine as the country is expected to sign an Agreement of Association to the European Union as well as its transition to the free trade zone.
The Ambassador of Ukraine and BCCI’s President discussed different ways to boost trade relations. Upcoming joint initiatives were given due consideration, the Investment Forum in Zaporozhie being identified as one of the most important. Leading industrial companies are envisaged to visit Bulgaria to present the sectors of the food and beverage and light industry, metallurgy, electronics and tourism.
