17 surveys conducted by BCCI presented the point of view of business in 2012
In 2012 BCCI’s economic analysts, focusing on the pressing issues in business, conducted 17 surveys. The members of the Chamber submitted comments and proposals on legislative changes as well as dwelled on problems and appropriate measures to support entrepreneurship.
Dialogue with business was a rallying point for defending of positions and we are glad to report that we were successful in carrying through some of the most important proposals of entrepreneurship: to retain the levels of the corporate and income tax and not to increase the minimum insurance income for sectors without agreements. The Chamber keeps on defending the other positions of business for better business environment, diminishing administrative pressure on companies by reducing regulatory regimes.
Along with the support and confidence we received from our members through their active positions, BCCI’s analysts successfully collaborated with leading international institutions such as IFO Institute (Germany), Fitch Ratings, EUROCHAMBRES, foreign embassies in the country etc.
In 2013 the ambition of the Chamber’s analysts is to expand the topics of studies expecting even more input and comments which to present to the competent authorities - both in its capacity as a nationally representative employers’ organization and internationally acknowledged. We deliberate on the criteria enabling us for the first time to distinguish the most active company / manager in the surveys.
