Invitation to participate in a business delegation in the city of Chisinau, Moldova, March 26 - 27, 2024 from BCCI

Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry informs that in the period March 26-27, 2024, a Bulgarian-Moldovan business forum will be held in the city of Chisinau. Event is organized together with the Moldovan Investment Agency with the support of the Ministry of Economy and Industry of Bulgaria on the occasion of the 9-th meeting of the Intergovernmental Bulgarian-Moldovan Commission for Economic Cooperation.

The forum will focus on the following sectors: energy; agriculture; tourism; light industry; textile industry; furniture industry; pharmaceutical industry; construction etc.

According to information from the Ministry of Economy and Industry, the leading commodity groups in exports from Bulgaria to Moldova in the first half of 2023 are petroleum oils and oils from bituminous minerals; oils and other products obtained from the distillation of coal tars; mineral or chemical nitrogen and other fertilizers and medicines, float glass, etc. When importing to Bulgaria from Moldova in the first half of 2023, the leading commodity groups are sunflower seeds, wires, cables and other insulated electrical conductors.

There are real opportunities to increase mutual supplies of goods and expand cooperation in the field of tourism. There is potential for increasing Bulgarian exports in the field of supplies of goods to the food industry and equipment for it, medicines, perfumery and cosmetics, electronic and electrotechnical goods, electric motors, machinery, lifting and transport vehicles, trade in agricultural products, exchange of information, opportunities to participate in joint projects and investments in the agrarian sector, cooperation in the field of animal husbandry, plant breeding and the viticulture sector.

The forum will include the presentation of current information on the economies of Bulgaria and Moldova, detailed presentations of various sectors with potential for the development of economic cooperation, as well as bilateral business meetings between Bulgarian and Moldovan companies. The working language of the forum is English.

In this regard, we invite you to join the business delegation that will take part in the Bulgarian-Moldovan business forum. Interested companies can express their interest through pre-registration no later than March 14 /Thursday/.

Registered participants will receive detailed information about the program and conditions for participation. The organized trip will take place by plane. Independent travel by car is also possible. Accommodation in the city of Chisinau will be near the venue of the forum.
