The new Ambassador of Cuba visited the BCCI

The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in Sofia H.E. Marieta García Jordan visited the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and had a meeting with its President Tsvetan Simeonov. The meeting was also attended by Mr. Roberto Martinez, first secretary at the Ambassy.

Ambassador Jordan presented information on the development of the Cuban economy and the opportunities to invest in Cuba and outlined the spheres of mutual interest like mining, biotechnology, informatics, tourism, agricultural production.

On his part, Mr Simeonov wished every success to Ambassador Jordan with her mission in our country and presented some facts from the history and activities of the BCCI. An agreement was reached with the Embassy team for a presentation, in the second half of the year, of the investment opportunities in Cuba. The date of the event is to be confirmed.
