2-nd International Specialised Exhibition on Bio Food, Beverages, Products and Technologies



The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry organizes the Second International Specialised Exhibition on bio food, beverages, products and technologies BIO&ECO EXPO 2011 to expand the field of activity of companies manufacturing bio and eco products and to promote the use of bio and eco products.
BIO&ECO EXPO 2011 will once again take place under the auspices of the Minister of Agriculture and Food – Dr. Miroslav Naydenov. 
WHEN AND WHERE: 14 to 17 September 2011, National Palace of Culture – Sofia
The exhibition will present manufacturers and distributors of bio certified, ecologically clean and natural products – raw materials of vegetable and animal origin, foods and products, herbs and spices, nutritional supplements; bio and natural cosmetics; eco clothes, furniture, souvenirs, etc.; biodegradable products and “green” office supplies; bio farms; eco technologies; biopesticides and biofertilizers. Hotels and sites for eco tourism will be presented under the BIO brand, as well as certifying companies and institutuions, specialised literature, etc. 
According to the organizers, the following products will attract the interest of visitors: bio products with the trademark “BIOWORLD” – bio spices, spelt and spelt products, bio gluten-free products Bertz, bio chia seeds, natural soaps with bio olive oil and plant extracts; 200 types of controlled high-quality bulk tea and various accessories from renowned manufacturers.
 
The new products of argan oil, a new line of ORGANIC SURGE for your hair, and professional hair products will be exhibited. MADARA ecocosmetics will present its newest lines of products ECO Face; ECO Body; ECO Hair; ECO Deco and ECO Baby.  
Travel pillows with bio millet husk filling; personal FLASK for “live” water; hand-made silver jewellery with real flowers; wooden 3D puzzles, solar constructors, solar bike accessories, telephones and many other bio and eco products will be displayed. 
The Ministry of Agriculture and Food will participate with an information stand to present the Rural Development Programme.
At the first BIO & ECO EXPO 2010 the products of over 100 companies – manufacturers from Bulgaria, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Hungary, Latvia, the Netherlands, Russia, Slovakia, Spain, the Republic of South Africa, the USA were presented. Foods, beverages, nutritional supplements and cosmetics, organic cotton clothes were exhibited. Technologies for: production of biodegradable packages; biodegradable packages from fireproof cardboard; systems for drinking water purification, used not only by households, but also in the production activity of companies from the pharmaceutical and food industry, enjoyed most interest. Technologies for protection from the harmful radiation of cell phones and wi-fi radiation were displayed. Over 60% of the participants were certified for bio products.
