Opportunities for expansion of the cooperation between Bulgaria and Slovenia were discussed

The General Manager of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia Mrs. Sonja Smuc visited BCCI and discussed the opportunities for expansion of the cooperation between Bulgaria and Slovenia with the President of BCCI Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov and the Secretary General of the Chamber Mr. Vasil Todorov.

During the working meeting, information about the chamber structure in Bulgaria and Slovenia was presented, together with information about the activities of the sectorial organizations and councils at the Chambers. The economic cooperation in the Western Balkans was also discussed. Simeonov and Smuc united around the idea that there is untapped potential in the trade and economic relations between the two countries which needs to be utilized.

Another topic of discussion was the digital certificate Excellent SME, which is issued to small and medium-sized enterprises to certify their good standing through an original stamp on the website of the certified company. The service is provided by several chambers of commerce in the region (Slovenia, Serbia, Macedonia, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Slovakia, Croatia and Montenegro) in cooperation with COFACE.

The certification is based on a complex assessment of the company performed by COFACE, which is summarized in the form of a credit report. The company is subject to daily monitoring through verification and monitoring of the events which could have a potential impact on its economic and financial situation and its ability to fulfill its commercial obligations.
