Establishment of Cooperation metween the BCCI and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development



Mr. Miha Svent, Manager of the Regional Programme of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development /EBRD/ visited the BCCI. His visit was a part of an investigation stage for rendering consulting services in Bulgaria by the European institution. 
 
The President of the BCCI, Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov, acquainted the guest with the basic services, provided by the Chamber in support of the business and presented the activity of the Trade Register /incl. the issuing of the Excellent SME Cerificate/, the Arbitration Court, the GS1 Bulgaria Council, the “BCCI – Centre for Professional Training, Translations, Consultations and Company Services”, etc.
 
Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov focused on the necessity of facilitation of the access of the Bulgarian SMEs to financial resources and on the opportunities for joint actions and cooperation between the Chamber and the EBRD in this field.
 
Mr. Miha Svent indicated as a form of partnership between the BCCI and the EBRD in Bulgaria the encouragement of the business and of the SME sector in particular to avail of the consultations, provided by the Bank.
