The establishment of Bulgarian – Portuguese Chamber of Commerce was initiated



H.E. Luis Ferraz, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Portugal in Sofia and the President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov discussed the development of the bilateral economic cooperation. They noted that the public institutions took upon providing significant support to businesses from Bulgaria and Portugal.

Partnership with Portuguese companies is possible in the sectors of construction, engineering, infrastructure, e-services and e-government, the Ambassador informed.

The initiative to set up a joint Bulgarian – Portuguese Chamber of Commerce which will provide assistance and support to Bulgarian and Portuguese companies was discussed. The association is expected to be established later this year.

BCCI and the Embassy of Portugal will continue their cooperation for the more dynamic development of bilateral economic relations.
