The Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey visited the BCCI



The development of the economic cooperation between Bulgaria and Turkey was discussed between the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in Sofia H.E. Mr. Suleyman Gokce and the BCCI’s President Tsvetan Simeonov during a meeting in the Chamber. The newly-established Union of the Turkish-Bulgarian Businessmen Associations, an “umbrella” business organization comprising the three business structures currently operating in Sofia, Plovdiv and Shumen, is expected to become one of the instruments for intensifying the bilateral trade relations. According to Tsvetan Simeonov the cooperation must be expanded and also involve a closer contact with the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK) - a BCCI’s long-standing partner.
 
Ambassador Gokce underlined that the increasing in-depth support and cooperation at state and government level would give impetus to the economic relations.
