Chinese companies from Chongqing, China are looking for Bulgarian partners

Bilateral meetings with Chinese companies from Chongqing, China took place. The event was officially opened by Xiong Lin, Deputy Director of Chongqing Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Commission who presented the achievements of the Chinese city.

The President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov said that the sectors represented by the delegation members (construction and engineering, eCommerce platforms, shopping and entertainment centers, waste processing, bank sector, tourism, food industry) are carefully selected and of mutual interest for the two countries. Bulgaria is a good potential partner, said Tsvetan Simeonov and outlined the country’s main macroeconomic indicators and advantages.

A presentation of Chinese companies was made and bilateral meetings with Bulgarian businesses were held. More than 50 Bulgarian companies had the opportunity to find potential partners.

During the meeting a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between a Bulgarian and a Chinese company for future cooperation.
