Encouraging the Business Relations between Bulgaria and Palestine

The Head of the Diplomatic Mission of Bulgaria in Ramallah, Palestine, Mr. Svilen Bozhanov, had a talk with the President of the BCCI – Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov.

Among the discussed topics of the discussion was the necessity of entering into agreement for cooperation with the partner organization – the Federation of the Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Rural Development in Palestine. The both organizations so far had exchanged a draft of such agreement which will be signed in due time.

The question of getting visas to Bulgaria by Palestinian citizens was alo discussed. The BCCI and the Federation of the Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Rural Development in Palestine with the support of the Diplomatic Mission of Bulgaria, will join their efforts for facilitation of the process and guaranteeing the reliability of the businessmen, who are willing to visit the respective country.

It has been agreed to the end of 2015 a joint business forum to be organized in Bulgaria, and also a visit of the Palestinian business delegations in some regions of the country.

Both parties agreed that there is a necessity of more serious engagement on the part of the state institutions for further development of the bilateral economic relations.
