XXXIII Regular General Meeting of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry

On 17th June 2014 at the XXXIII Regular General Meeting of the BCCI a new 83-member Board of Directors was elected.  
Tsvetan Simeonov, existing President of the Board of Directors of the BCCI was re-elected President of the Board of the BCCI. 
Georgi Stoev, existing Vice-President of the Board of Directors of the BCCI was re-elected Vice-President of the Board of the BCCI.
 
Todor Tabakov, Evgeni Evgeniev, Radka Stamenova, Miryana Kalcheva, Lachezar Iskrov, Ivan Stoimenov and Vassil Todorov were elected members of the new Executive Council of the BCCI, beside President Tsvetan Simeonov and Vice-President Georgi Stoev.
 
Adopted at the General Meeting Guidelines for the Activity of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the period 2014 – 2018 include ensuring macroeconomic stability, improving business conditions, increasing absorption of EU funds, providing conditions for a successful and sustainable development of the energy sector in Bulgaria, improving educational system, bipartite and tripartite cooperation, supporting Bulgarian companies. 
 
The Budget of Revenues and Expenditure by departments on economic elements for the period 2014 – 2018 was approved.
 
During the General Meeting the BCCI’s Statute was updated. The amendments made focus on electronic means of communication and the need to reduce the administrative burden.
