Initiatives to enhance cooperation between Bulgaria and Hungary were discussed at the BCCI
Rosen Tkachenko – President of the Hungarian-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce (HBCC), and Martin Udvarev, Member of the Chamber, visited the BCCI and met with President Tsvetan Simeonov.
The purpose of the visit was to discuss the possibilities of enhancing the cooperation between Bulgaria and Hungary. Rosen Tkachenko reaffirmed the HBCC’s intention to search for ways of expanding the presence of Bulgarian goods on the Hungarian market.
The issue about interaction in tourism was also subject to discussion. HBCC President noted that the number of Hungarian tourists in Bulgaria is relatively small, that is why initiatives such as the developed by the BCCI innovative platform for virtual tours “Roving museum” under the SAGITTARIUS Project, would promote our country as a place of rich cultural and historical heritage.
A Bulgarian Business Forum is about to be held in Budapest on 11th June this year, where the activities of the BCCI are going to be presented. The President of the Hungarian-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce committed himself to make a special address to the participants in the forum on behalf of the President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
