Business visit of the BCCI President in Rome

BCCI President Tsvetan Simeonov attended a meeting in Rome with Giorgio Squinzi – President of CONFINDUSTRIA (Association of Italian entrepreneurs), and representatives of the Italian business. The meeting was part of the agenda of the official visit of Deputy Prime Minister Daniela Bobeva in Italy.

In the attendance of Italian entrepreneurs who have invested in our country, as well as representatives of Bulgarian business organisations, the advantages of doing business and investments in Bulgaria came up for discussion.

“A large part of the companies presented are already doing business in Bulgaria and intend to invest about 500 million by my calculation. We have already received a request to continue some of the projects – to discuss and help in Sofia”, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Development Daniela Bobeva said at a briefing after meeting with representatives of the Confindustria in Rome.

Bobeva pointed out industrial sectors such as manufacturing, agriculture, mining, automotive production in particular – as best sectors to invest in. “We will announce the industrial areas, which we would finance under European programs”, Deputy Prime Minister said.

BCCI is in partnership with CONFINDUSTRIA on international level within the International Labor Organisation and the International Organisation of Employers. CONFINDUSTRIA has opened an office in our country since 2000 and is among the leading participants of the BCCI Club of Joint Chambers.
