Charge d'Affaires of the Embassy of Brazil visited BCCI

Charge d'Affaires of the Embassy of Brazil in Sofia – H.E. Mr. Ricardo Guerra de Araujo had an informative meeting with the President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov.

The guest was introduced to the work of the Chamber in support of business from Bulgaria and abroad, and to the partnership with international organisations.

During the conversation they discussed the possibilities of promoting the bilateral cooperation. Although Brazil ranks first in our trade with the Latin American region, the visible trade is symbolic and of significant imbalance and of constant negative balance to our country, and does not meet the potential of the two countries.

Ambassador Guerra de Araujo said that one of the objectives of his mission in Bulgaria is to establish a joint committee at state level, which will ensure regular meetings and dialogue, and will contribute to improving the regulations and enhancing the trade exchange between Brazil and Bulgaria.
