BCCI launched the BG BARCODE mobile application for the verification of barcodes

The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and GS1 Bulgaria Council, presented the free mobile application for the verification of barcodes BG BARCODE. The application was promised by the BCCI at the conclusion of the last Christmas Pact for the non-admission on the market of non-conforming and unsafe products. Now it is actual and available to all people and companies.
 
„We have long wanted to have this product available, as it is important for the people, micro-, small and the medium-sized enterprises to stay informed before making their choice“, said the President of the BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov. The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is an organisation of the businesses but it tolerates only the accurate market participants, he emphasized and added: BG BARCODE is one of the tools for the gradual elimination of the illegitimate participants in the Bulgarian market. There is no such a barcode that cannot be checked through this application, no matter where it was made”.
 
The Chamber expects the new product to be positively welcomed by the people who should give priority to the legitimate users of barcodes.
The functionality of BG BARCODE was presented and explained by Lyubomir Gaydarov, expert in GS1 Bulgaria with the BCCI.
