Saudi businesses expect facilitations in the issuance of visas to Bulgaria





The Management of the Bulgarian-Saudi Business Council with BCCI (BSBC) held a meeting with the President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) – Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov, and Vice-President Mr. Georgi Stoev. On the part of BSBC the meeting was attended by Mr. Mohammed Sakar, Honorary Chairman of the Council, and Mr. Ghassan Nasser, PR.  
 
The discussion pointed out the important role of the Council as regards the expansion of the relations with Saudi Arabia and the facilitations in particular that it provides for obtaining visas to our country on time. The need to create conditions for such facilitations for the Saudi business by creating and expanding the rights of the Honorary Consuls of Bulgaria in Saudi Arabia, or by opening an Embassy, which has been expected for quite a time, were subject of the discussion. This will be an important step to exploit the potential for cooperation between the two countries, including tourism – Bulgaria as an attractive destination. 
 
Ideas for strengthening the role of the Council were also shared.
