The 8th Meeting under the PLATO Project of BCCI Took Place

On 31 October 2011 at the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the 8th meeting under the PLATO Project on topic “Negotiation skills” was held. Speaker at the meeting was Mr. Kristian Georgiev – Managing Partner at Arthur Adams® Bulgaria.

Highlights of the meeting:
-    preparation and planning of negotiations;
-    processes when conducting negotiations;
-    psychology of negotiations;
-    basic steps and techniques necessary for successful negotiations with suppliers, partners, customers or within the organization;
-    overcoming external attempts for manipulation.

The participants in the meeting were taught necessary skills and knowledge to analyze tactical and strategic techniques for conducting successful negotiations and how to apply them in practice.

The meeting was part of a cycle of 9 meetings under the PLATO Project, which aims at increasing competitiveness of Bulgarian companies through meetings and trainings, exchange of good practices, establishing partnerships and implementation of joint projects. BCCI will continue to support the PLATO network in Bulgaria after the end of the project by attracting new participants.
