Bulgarian-Turkish Business Forum


With regard to the official visit of the President of the Republic of Turkey, H.E. Abdullah Gül to Sofia, the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry together with the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey (DEIK) and the Turkish Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry are organizing Bulgarian-Turkish Business Forum, which will take place on July 11th, 2011 /Monday/ in Sheraton Sofia Hotel Balkan.
The business delegation of over 50 Turkish companies accompanying the Turkish President will meet potential Bulgarian partners during the Forum.
Mutual interest in the following areas has been expressed: construction and infrastructure, telecommunications, electrical engineering, automobile industry, transport and tourism, agriculture, food industry, light industry, etc. 
Representatives of Şişecam Company – one of the biggest investors in Bulgaria and Doğuş Construction and Trade Inc. – the company building a section of Sofia underground, and other large Turkish companies are expected to participate in the Forum. 
More than 100 Bulgarian businessmen have confirmed their participation in the meetings so far, and the interest in the meetings is growing constantly.
