The President of BCCI held a working meeting with H.E. Mr. Negash Kebret Botora, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ethiopia. They discussed the bilateral relations which need strengthening in the field of trade and economic cooperation. Ambassador Botora presented the most prominent sectors of Ethiopian economy: agriculture /production of coffee, seeds – sesame, maize, etc./, hides /cow, sheep, goat hides, etc./, livestock and meat, textile industry /cotton and finished textiles/, tourism, hydropower, etc.

Tsvetan Simeonov outlined the possible areas for joint business –technology and machinery for the food industry, small hydropower systems, construction of tourist infrastructure, etc.

Joint events were planned by the end of 2018 in order to promote the opportunities for bilateral economic cooperation. BCCI will provide additional information on the dates and programme of the events.
