Initiatives to promote the bilateral trade and economic relations between Bulgaria and Ukraine
Negotiated the President of BCCI and the Ambassador of Ukraine H.E. Mykola Baltazhy
H.E. Mykola Baltazhy, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine in Bulgaria and Rustam Azhdar, Counsellor for Economic Affairs of the Embassy of Ukraine in Sofia, met with the President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov.
The systemic reforms and achievements of the Ukrainian economy in the past year were discussed. Ambassador Baltazhy noted the improved positions of Ukraine in the international rankings.
During the meeting it was agreed to hold a business seminar to present the latest developments in the Ukrainian economy in the end of March at BCCI, and a Bulgarian – Ukrainian Business Forum with the participation of a Ukrainian business delegation in April in Burgas.
The forthcoming session of the Joint Intergovernmental Committee, which is expected to take place in the second half of the year, was also discussed at the meeting.
