Tsvetan Simeonov and Petr Dokladal discussed quality of electricity supply for the business consumers
During a meeting at the BCCI, Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Mr. Petr Dokladal Regional Manager of CEZ for Bulgaria exchanged views and discussed issues concerning the higher quality of electricity supply services provided to Bulgarian companies and citizens by CEZ Bulgaria.
During the talks the impact of cross-subsidisation was discussed. It indirectly has a positive effect on the households’ budgets, but mainly increases the production expenses of the businesses.
According to the Regional Manager of CEZ for Bulgaria, the number of approved investments for the electricity supply network is disturbing, as well as the process of buying-up power substations, cable theft and the condition of a large part of the cables. All these factors affect the quality of the electricity supplied.
The two parties agreed that joint efforts are needed to achieve higher liberalization of the energy market.
