BCCI was awarded for promoting Bulgarian-Turkish economic relations
On the occasion of the official holiday of the Republic of Turkey, the BCCI was honored for its contribution to the development of the bilateral trade and economic relations. The event was opened by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey in Sofia H.E. Suleyman Gokce. The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Daniel Mitov and Minister of Education and Science Rumyana Kolarova.
The award was received by the BCCI’s Secretary General Vassil Todorov, on behalf of the Chamber, who expressed its willingness to continue being a partner in promoting the economic cooperation between Bulgaria and Turkey. He stressed that the thorough collaboration between the chambers of commerce and industry of the two countries has contributed to the positive outcomes for the businesses.
As part of the ceremony a declaration was announced of the establishment of the Union of Joint Turkish-Bulgarian Chambers and Councils of Sofia, Plovdiv and Shumen.
