Encouraging Business Relations between Bulgaria and Albania

H.E. Qirjako Kureta, Ambassador of Albania in Sofia, met the President of the BCCI, Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov.

Information was provided about the relations with partner organisations in Albania, among which: the Chamber for Commerce and Industry of Tirana, the Union of the Albanian Chambers of Commerce and Industry and the Bulgarian-Albanian Chamber of Commerce.

Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov underlined that Albania is a good, reliable and longterm trade partner and that it is a country with European future.

In a process of renewal is the Partnership Agreement with the Chamber for Commerce and Industry of Tirana. The President of the BCCI outlined that the Bulgarian companies in the sectors: pharmacy, car-building, metal-processing, food industry, energetics and tourism have keen interest in partnerships with Albanian companies.

Ambassador Kureta pointed out that the trade and economic cooperation between the two countries has an enormous potential for development. Encouragement of the contacts not only among businesses, but also among the respective institutions is necessary prerequisite for futher extension of the joint and coordinated activities.

At the meeting the organising of business events and business meetings with the support of the BCCI and of the Albanian Embassy in Sofia was agreed.
