New horizons for the development of Bulgarian and Croatian business
Bulgaria – Croatia Business Forum was held at BCCI, organized in cooperation with the Croatian Chamber of Economy and the Embassy of Croatia in Sofia.
In his opening speech, the President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov declared the Chamber’s willingness to assist companies from the two countries in order to strengthen the bilateral relations and increase trade volumes. He pointed out BCCI’s excellent cooperation with the Croatian Chamber of Economy and the Embassy of Croatia.
The great interest towards the forum clearly showed Bulgarian and Croatian entrepreneurs’ desire to establish contacts and utilize the bilateral trade and economic potential, said Ms. Silva Stipic Kobali, Director of the International Affairs Sector of the Croatian Chamber of Economy.
H.E. Ms. Ljerka Alajbeg, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Croatia to Bulgaria said that the Embassy is open for future joint initiatives in support of businesses.
Presentations of the investment and business climates and successful business practices of the two countries were made. The main macroeconomic indicators of Croatia and the most important services which the Chamber provides to Croatian companies were outlined.
Bilateral business meeting were held. The Bulgarian companies were presented with the opportunity to find potential Croatian partners in the following sectors: energy, construction, metallurgy, food industry.
