BCCI and the Embassy of Austria expand their cooperation in support to businesses

The development of Bulgarian – Austrian trade and economic relations was discussed at a meeting by H.E. Roland Hauser, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Austria to Bulgaria and the President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov.

H.E. Roland Hauser got acquainted to the main activities and priorities of the Chamber and the services it provides to its members and all business representatives in the country and abroad. BCCI’s membership in prestigious international organizations was also presented.

The Ambassador of Austria said that he was impressed favorably by the economic potential of Bulgaria and the investment climate in our country. The development of the bilateral economic is steady - registering a lasting positive trend, it was ascertained. BCCI and the Embassy of Austria will continue their mutual work and cooperation in this direction.

A demonstration of the new laboratory of GS1 Bulgaria, situated at the BCCI headquarters, was made for Ambassador Hauser. The lab will be used to check the quality of already generated barcode symbols.

Very close relations for sharing experience and exchanging good practices were established as part of the mentorship programme between GS1 Bulgaria and GS1 Austria.
