NGOs from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan show interest in the experience of the BCCI and the Bulgarian agricultural sector

Delegation of NGOs from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan paid a visit to the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the purpose to benefit from the experience and best practices for promoting small and medium-sized businesses and enhancing economic integration. This visit to Bulgaria is related to the implementation of a joint project for promoting investment and entrepreneurship in Central Asia, funded by the EU. Representatives of the project partners – Consulting Centre ZUBR from Kazakhstan, Centre for Economic Development from Uzbekistan and Centre for Entrepreneurship and Executive Development – Bulgaria, met with the President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Tsvetan Simeonov. 
 
Improving the business climate and enhancing the regional economic integration through the potential of the small and medium-sized enterprises in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, also strengthening the role of organisations supporting their development, was the main subject to discussion.
 
The guests were interested in the Chamber’s extensive work experience in improving the business environment and investment climate in our region, as well as in supporting small and medium-sized enterprises. They focused on the prospect of establishing and developing partnership relations in the agricultural sector. Tsvetan Simeonov expressed willingness on behalf of the BCCI for cooperation and provided them with detailed information about the Bulgarian branch structures in agriculture.
