American entrepreneurs searching for business opportunities in the agricultural sector in Bulgaria

American entrepreneurs interested in agriculture visited the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and met with President Tsvetan Simeonov. The meeting was also attended by David Hampson, Managing Partner at “Technology Transfer”, Galina Yovcheva, Senior Project Associate at “Technology Transfer”, and Jill Urban-Karr, CEO Consulting Services and Land Administration at Trimble Navigation Limited.
The purpose of the visit was to present the American company Trimble Navigation Limited and make an initial research of business opportunities in the agricultural sector in Bulgaria. Trimble Navigation Limited integrates its experience in the field of GPS positioning, laser, optical and inertial technologies with applied software, wireless communications and services, as well as provision of overall trade solutions. The company operates in the following areas: agriculture, engineering and construction, transport and wireless communication infrastructure.
 
Tsvetan Simeonov expressed on behalf of the Chamber willingness to cooperate with the company in order to enhance the agricultural sector in Bulgaria, which is of vital importance for the Bulgarian economy and has great potential.
