Deputy Prime Minister Bobeva met with representatives of the Management Board, the Conference of Presidents and the Council of the Branch Organisations









Economy and businesses need above all ease and reforms – this conclusion argued the Deputy Prime Minister on Economic Development, Mrs. Daniela Bobeva before the members of the Management Board of the BCCI, the Conference of Presidents and the Council of the Branch Organisations, among which Varna Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Haskovo Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Montana Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Targovishte Chamber of Commerce and Industry during her visit to BCCI yesterday, 20th January 2014. 
 
Investments are the biggest problem and the biggest challenge, in the contraction of the domestic investments and the decline of the foreign ones, Bobeva noted, adding that the political suggestions of instability harm the credit rating of the country.
 
The Deputy Prime Minister of Economy confirmed the intentions of the Cabinet of reforms for improving the business environment through changes in the public procurement legislation, for reducing the administrative burden also for the competition, and regretted the fact that the Parliament does not function as efficiently as is expected. She emphasized that the government has filed before the National Assembly a list of the most significant laws to be adopted and invited the representatives of the Chamber and the Branch Organisations, in case if anything important was being omitted, to be supplemented in short terms.
 
BCCI President Tsvetan Simeonov recalled that on behalf of the Chamber suggestions have been submitted for changes in the public procurement law, and highlighted that the most important thing is to release to the highest degree the officials of the possibility of discretionary decisions. „If necessary, then let the computers classify all and make it available on the Internet. Those who want to absorb public funds – shall have no right to refer to trade confidentiality to conceal the conditions under which they tendered“, specified Tsvetan Simeonov. He did not hide the discontent of the business towards the state administration and reminded of the ridiculous cases of undermining good ideas due to the way the administration applies and implements them, as an example he pointed the introduction of the principle of tacit consent.
 
The representatives of the Chamber and the Branch Organisations set before the Deputy Prime Minister Bobeva specific issues and recommendations, related to the regulatory framework, the conditions for business, the labor market regulations, the competition, the unequal approach to the economic entities.
