The Ambassador to the Republic of Korea in Bulgaria visited BCCI
The newly appointed extraordinary and plenipotentiary Ambassador to the Republic of Korea in Bulgaria, HE Mr. Shin Maeng-ho, visited the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and met with the Chamber’s Management. The meeting was hosted by BCCI’s President, Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov and Vice-President, Mr. Georgi Stoev. Future mutual initiatives between the Embassy and the Chamber were on focus of the discussion. The idea of organizing a joint event between the Embassy’s Trade Department and BCCI in regard to the business opportunities with Korea was discussed at the meeting. BCCI will additionally notify all the participants interested in the event.
HE Ambassador Shin Maeng-ho stated that it is his mission and main priority to subserve for the establishment of the economic relations between the Republic of Korea and Bulgaria.

Among the main economic fields of cooperation between the two countries are sectors like energy, food industry, beverage industry etc.
BCCI’s Vice-President Mr. Georgi Stoev, who is also Chairman of the Bulgarian-Korean Committee at the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, introduced the guest to the activities of the Committee.
