Trends in the labor market and opportunities for application of flexible forms of employment





 

During a conference on the new flexible forms of employment organized by the Centre for Economic Development BCCI’s President Tsvetan Simeonov pointed out that due to negative trends in the economy in recent years there had been an increase for more flexibility in the labor market. Homeworking and teleworking, temporary employment by agencies were arousing interest as well. 
 
According to NSI data the number of people ready to start but not searching employment grew by 80000 in the period 2008-2011.
 
BCCI members believe that the new forms of employment create an opportunity for active participation of a wider number of people, which will help both to reduce unemployment and to increase the productivity of economy.
