Bulgaria and Ukraine: cooperation under the new conditions

The President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov discussed the state of the bilateral economic relations with the Counsellor for Economic Affairs at the Embassy of Ukraine in Bulgaria, Rustam Azhdar, throughout a regular meeting. The interlocutors discussed various ideas for cooperation under the new Covid-19 conditions.

The Chamber and the Embassy of Ukraine agreed to join their efforts, despite the difficulties, and to facilitate the new contacts between companies representing the two countries.

The outlooks for cooperation in 2021 were also discussed. The next business event, planned to be hosted by the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, is agreed to gather many Bulgarian and Ukrainian companies.

Rustam Azhdar informed that the Embassy of Ukraine in Sofia held a very successful event in October, together with the Plovdiv Chamber of Commerce and Industry. "Without the strong support of your partners – the Regional Chambers of Commerce, the events in Burgas, Varna and Plovdiv would not have happened," he stressed.
