BCCI signed Memorandum of Understanding with the China Beijing International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS)

BCCI signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the China Beijing International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS). The document was signed by the President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov and Ni Yuegang, Deputy Director of Beijing Municipal Commission of Commerce. The Chinese party consisted of representatives of the China International Center for Economic and Technical Exchanges at the Ministry of Economy, and the Organizing Committee of CIFTIS.

During the meeting, issues related to the Bulgarian – Chinese cooperation were discussed, such as the “16+1 initiative” aimed at intensifying and expanding the economic cooperation between China and Eastern Europe, BCCI’s participation in organizations such as the National Association “One Belt, One Road” and the Silk Road Chamber of International Commerce. The President of BCCI acquainted the participants in the meeting with BCCI’s long history and its achievements as the oldest employers’ organization in Bulgaria. On their part, the Chinese guests presented the activities and goals of CIFTIS.

The 5^th edition of the China Beijing International Fair for Trade in Services will be held in the period 28 May – 1 June in Beijing. The focus will be placed on 12 main services sectors, including tourism, culture, education and finance.

The MoU between BCCI and CIFTIS will provide Bulgarian companies and organizations with the opportunity to participate in the fair at preferential rates.
