Representatives of the Bulgarian business participated in the delegation accompanying the President Rumen Radev in Macedonia



Plamen Pavlov, Chairman of the Bulgarian Gas Association - a member of the BCCI, participated in the delegation accompanying the President of the Republic of Bulgaria Rumen Radev during his official visit to Skopje, Republic of Macedonia on 16-17 February. Representatives of the executive, legislative and local authorities, of the Bulgarian Orthodox clergy, as well as of the Bulgarian employers' organizations participated in the delegation headed by the head of state.

Business representatives had meetings at the Investment Agency of Macedonia, at the Macedonia’s Business Confederation, the Union of Industrialists, Businessmen and Entrepreneurs.

On February 17, the Presidents of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of Macedonia, Rumen Radev and Gheorge Ivanov, met with the leaders of the Economic Chamber of Macedonia, the Economic Chamber of North-Western Macedonia, the Union of the Economic Chambers of Macedonia and the Macedonian-Bulgarian Economic Chamber. The meeting was attended by representatives of employers' organizations.

As a member of the initiative committee for boosting the activities of the Bulgarian-Macedonian Chamber of Commerce, Plamen Pavlov signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Zore Temelkovski, chairman of the Macedonian-Bulgarian Economic Chamber. The document envisages establishment of a favorable business environment for the development of joint business projects, improvement of the technological and information exchange and promotion of the economic cooperation between the commercial entities.

Plamen Pavlov had a meeting with the management of the Economic Chamber of Macedonia, where he discussed the cooperation with the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry both on a bilateral and on multilateral basis - within the membership in the Association of the Balkan Chambers (ABC) and the Association of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry (EUROCHAMBERS).
