Tsvetan Simeonov and Victoria Melamed discussed the state of the bilateral economic relations between Bulgaria and Slovakia

The President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov had a meeting with Victoria Melamed, Minister Plenipotentiary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who will soon join the team of the Bulgarian Embassy in Bratislava. They discussed the state of the bilateral economic relations between Bulgaria and Slovakia. The focus of the meeting was also on the opportunities for expanding trade and investment.

Mr. Simeonov informed about BCCI’s excellent relations with the Slovak Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Mrs. Melamed got acquainted to the information databases kept by the Chamber and received information materials. She said that the automotive industry is a sector of mutual interest to both countries because automobiles of leading world brands are manufactured in Slovakia, and in Bulgaria the production of automotive parts and components is gaining momentum.

The parties agreed to exchange information on the business opportunities in both countries on a regular basis.
