Seminar promoting business cooperation between Bulgaria and Thailand at BCCI



A business seminar entitled “Thailand as an ASEAN Hub” was held in the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The event was organized in cooperation with the European Association for Business and Commerce /EABC/ from the Kingdom of Thailand.
Seminar participants received useful information on business opportunities and up-to-date data and facts about the Thai economy.
Nantisa Rousseau, Legal Expert made a presentation on the market in Thailand and gave important practical legal advice in relation to doing business in the country. The advantages which can be used when doing business in Thailand, as well as specific ideas for increasing trade between Bulgaria and Thailand were outlined by Dr. Pitchaya Sirivunnabood, Policy Manager at the European Association for Business and Commerce.
The seminar ended with individual consultations and several specific questions concerning entering the Thai market were discussed.
There is interest for import of Bulgarian coriander in Thailand, as well as fertilizers and chemical products. On its part Bulgaria imports food products, electronics, automobile parts and textiles from the Asian country.
