BCCI and Chinese delegation discussed new opportunities for development of trade and economic relations





A delegation from Ningbo, China visited BCCI and met with the President of the Chamber Tsvetan Simeonov. 
 
The delegation was led by Ding Haibin, Deputy Secretary General of Ningbo Municipal Government. 
 
Opportunities for economic cooperation between Bulgaria and China were discussed. An important platform for the development of bilateral relations was presented – the investment and trade expo for Central and Eastern European countries in China – CEEC Expo, which will be held from June 8 to 12, 2015 in Ningbo. The city covers an area of 10 thousand sq.km and has a population of 7.5 million. It has attracted more than 15 thousand investors. The Chinese delegation informed that this year the expo organizers have provided 100 thousand sq.m. exhibition area and want to stimulate exhibitors by providing free standard booth, transfer from Shanghai to Ningbo, as well as free internal transport to the expo hall. Investment institutions, companies, state and municipal authorities have been invited to the event.
 
The Vice President of Ningbo Council for Promotion of International Trade Li Jianhua also participated in the delegation. He expressed wish for cooperation with BCCI for the participation of Chinese companies in fairs and exhibitions in Bulgaria. Annually the Committee organizes the participation of Chinese companies in over 2000 exhibitions worldwide. 
 
The President of BCCI confirmed the Chamber’s readiness to help intensify the trade and economic relations between the two countries and to inform Bulgarian companies about participation in the exhibition.
