The Second International Balkan Wine Forum to be held in Sofia







 

Galina Niforu, Chairman of the Bulgarian Association of Wine Exporters and director of the "Balkans International Wine Competition" (BIWC) met BCCI’s President Tsvetan Simeonov.
 
The topic of the discussion was the upcoming Second Balkan Wine Forum to be held in the period 16 - 19 May 2013 at Grand Hotel Sofia. The event aims to attract the attention of the global wine community and promote wines from the Balkan Peninsula.
 
Sofia will once again become wine capital of the Balkans for the second consecutive time.
 
BCCI reiterated its readiness to support the holding of the festival and the round table entitled “Opportunities for development of the wine and wine tourism on the Balkans” which would be held during the Balkan Wine Forum with participation of representatives of companies producing and exporting wine from the Southeastern countries, tourist agencies and tour operators of the Balkan region, NGOs in the sector of hoteliership and restaurant catering.
 
 
BCCI is committed to actively participating and promoting joint initiatives in support of Bulgarian companies from the sector.
