The first meeting of the Association of Balkan Chambers (ABC) for this year was held. The priorities of the ABC Presidency were presented by the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry in a virtual environment. The President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov also took part in the meeting, together with representatives of the Chambers of Commerce of North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia and Albania.
The planned events and initiatives of the Association of Balkan Chambers for 2022 will focus on sharing good practices in tackling the pandemic, successful steps set out in the recovery and resilience plans of the ABC countries that are also EU member-states, and the progress of digital transformation in the world of business.
Tsvetan Simeonov supported the priorities of the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the development of ABC and especially hailed the idea of stimulating and uniting young entrepreneurs from the countries in the region through the existing national structures of Junior Chamber International and other associations of young businessmen.
He invited members of the chambers of commerce and industry participating in ABC to attend the International Balkan Wine Competition and Festival in June 2022.
BCCI will additionally inform about the exact dates and conditions for participation in the initiatives of the Association of Balkan Chambers.
