The newly appointed Ambassador of Turkey visited BCCI

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey in Sofia - HE. Dr. Hasan Ulusoy, visited the BCCI and met with the President of the Chamber - Mr.Tsvetan Simeonov. During the meeting joint initiatives to support businesses from both countries have been discussed.

Emrah Sazak - Commercial Counselor, and Haluk Demir - First Secretary of the Embassy have also participated in the meeting.

Mr. Simeonov acquainted his guests with the latest developments in economic relations between the two countries and highlighted the excellent cooperation between the BCCI and the Turkish partners, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), chairing the Association of Balkan Chambers (ABC) in 2018.

The President of the Chamber has also provided information about the meeting held earlier in BCCI with a delegation from BALKANTURKSIAD, one of the largest business organizations in Bursa, Turkey. A large number of the members of the business organization are of Balkan countries origin, including Bulgaria.

The Ambassador provided information on the forthcoming business forum in April this year in Istanbul with the participation of the Turkish and the Bulgarian Ministers of Economy. BCCI will further disseminate information on the exact time of the forum.

At the end of the conversation, the BCCI and the Embassy of Turkey in Sofia confirmed their desire not only to continue but also to intensify their good cooperation in supporting entrepreneurs from both countries.
